Amigo Card

Terms of Use

Welcome to Amigo Card, provided by Amigo App LTD. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the dollar card issued through our platform. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Card Issuance and Acceptance
Amigo Nigeria issues dollar cards specifically for Nigerian users because naira cards do not support international online transactions effectively. While our dollar cards are accepted on approximately 99% of international platforms, acceptance ultimately depends on the policies of individual merchants and the card networks (Visa or Mastercard). Amigo Nigeria does not guarantee acceptance in every instance.

2. User Responsibility and Testing
It is your sole responsibility to verify that your dollar card works with the specific platform or merchant before loading a significant amount of funds onto it. You are advised to perform a test transaction on the intended platform prior to any large purchases. Amigo Nigeria is not liable for any issues arising from a card being rejected or malfunctioning on a particular platform.

3. Card Balance and Information
Any balance or available funds displayed on your card is managed and provided by the respective card network (Visa or Mastercard). Amigo Nigeria does not control or manage the balance information shown on your card, this is an information directly from the card issuer (VISA or MasterCard).

4. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Amigo Nigeria be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use, misuse, or inability to use the dollar card. This includes, but is not limited to, losses incurred due to card rejection by merchants. Any issues arising from the card’s performance are solely the responsibility of Visa, Mastercard, or the respective merchant.

5. Customer Complaints and Social Media
In the event of a complaint regarding the card’s functionality, you must first verify the card’s compatibility with your chosen platform. Amigo Nigeria is not responsible for claims or negative feedback—whether shared directly or on social media—if proper verification was not conducted prior to the transaction. Any disputes regarding card performance should be directed to the respective card issuer.

6. Changes to These Terms
Amigo Nigeria reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any changes. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.

8. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Amigo Card and our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using the card.

Thank you for choosing Amigo Card. We are committed to providing you with a secure and reliable service, and we appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that our platform is used responsibly.
